BATTLEGROUND was conceived in June 2024 when we were looking for a name to aptly summarise our Fight Night events. We run our event every 3-4months, with each event outperforming the previous ones. Each event is themed and ticket holders encouraged to match the theme. BATTLEGROUND I <Hawaiian theme> was held on 29.6.24 featuring 10 bouts and 20 athletes from our gym and various other boxing gyms. BATTLEGROUND II <Rock & Roll> followed soon after, on 31.08.24 with a special fight jersey designed based on our revised event logo. This fight night had 11 bouts and was a raging success! In BATTLEGROUND III <Orange> we had the privilege of working with sponsors: Pizza (Peperoni Pizzeria), Boxing gloves (SKS Empire, Fight Concept, MMA In Style), Hot Infared & Cold Immersion Therapy sessions (Pro Rehab) and Custom Merchanise (Butcher Nails) for the event. This fight night was on 30.11.24 with 12 bouts and 24 talented fighters. Our most recent BATTLEGROUND IV <Songkran> fell on 12.4.25 featuring 8 bouts and 16 athletes. We had Anywheel and Peperoni Pizzeria as sponsors for the event, awarding Anywheel credits, 7-day bike passes and 3-bike passes to winners, runner-ups and ticket holders respectively. Peperoni Pizzeria even gave out $200 worth of credits to Fight of the Night fighters! We are so incredibly lucky to work with such amazing local brands to continue raising the bar for future fight nights, and we’re excited to announce that our upcoming event BATTLEGROUND V <USA> will fall on 5.7.25.

2025 PRO BOXING
Foxgloves Fight Gym was proud to have two fighters representing the gym in a professional boxing tournament on 30 August in Bangkok, Thailand. Both fighters trained hard for this event, which had 25 bouts and featured 50 fighters from all over the world.
Benaiah “Burn” Williams from Singapore clinched his 8th win in his professional boxing career. Burn won by TKO in the first round against an opponent from Thailand. At an impressive 8-0 record, we are excited to see where this takes him.
Khalid “War Falcon” Mohammed from Saudi Arabia won his second professional boxing fight on the main card of DAZN boxing. He too knocked his opponent down in the first round, resulting in a quick victory. He currently has a boxing record of 2-0 and is on deck for another professional boxing tournament in October.

We improve by training consistently, putting in the time and energy into the sport we love and these positive outcomes are the results of that hard work.
2024 PRO BOXING
We had 3 fighters representing the gym in a professional boxing tournament in Bangkok, Thailand.
Calros “Bucky” Ong had his professional boxing debut in Bangkok and emerged victorious against a strong opponent with over 20 pro boxing fights from Thailand.
Khalid “War Falcon” Mohammed from Saudi Arabia, also had his professional boxing debut and fought against a tough Thai fighter with around 30 pro boxing fights and clinched a win for the team.
Alisher “The War Lion” Ismailov from Uzbekistan competed in his third pro boxing fight of his career and also brought back the dub, making our overall record a pristine 3-0.

We are only as good as the people we train with, and iron sharpens iron. We strive to send more members to fights this year and are excited to see what they are able to accomplish in those competitions!
2023 PRO BOXING
Last year we sent 2 fighters to professional boxing tournaments in Ho Chih Minh, Vietnam and Bangkok, Thailand.
Hamad “The War Eagle” Nabil had his professional boxing debut in HCM, Vietnam and fought subsequently in Bangkok, Thailand. He currently holds a 2 – 0 record (2 wins) and we cannot wait to see what his future holds.
Alisher “The War Lion” Ismailov, originally from Ubekistan, has amassed an impressive amateur record and just completed his second professional boxing fight in Bangkok, Thailand alongside his teammate.
Both fighters are actively training in the gym and are preparing for more professional boxing fights this year so keep a lookout on our IG for updates

Our members have competed in KBX events in Singapore, Ultimate Beatdown in JB, Malaysia and Spectre Promotions in KL, Malaysia. We like to stay active and participate in boxing tournaments to sharpen our existing skillset. Competitions highlight improvements to be made and we can only get better from them
